We worked with Alyssa for flowers for our wedding in July 2024. She is a local vendor at our farmer’s market and makes beautiful bouquets in the summer months. Alyssa worked with us to make center pieces, large arrangements, and bouquets for our wedding party. We also purchased the DIY buckets for extra flowers around our venue. They were fantastic! Well priced, great service, beautiful in season flowers that were such a dream. The best part is that I continue to see Alyssa at markets throughout the year. I have bought seeds and tubers from her in the spring for my own garden and sent them to my family members who helped with our wedding. She is an absolute sweetheart and has a great creative eye.

My husband and I got married at Sweet Alyssum Farm at the end of June and I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful wedding venue! From blooming flowers, long golden grass, cherries on the trees, and birdsong in the forest, the farm was idyllic. Alyssa was great to work with and welcomed us to come tour the farm multiple times to help with planning. The new flagstone patio was the perfect size for dinner with our 60 guests, and the deck provided the perfect dance floor! For a wedding of our size we relied on a lot of help from family and friends to set up and clean up but the rental period extended over the full weekend, giving us lots of wiggle room to do so. Alyssa and Cory were also very helpful with getting the venue prepped. My grandma did our flowers and Alyssa was super accommodating with helping her fill some gaps last-minute when some of the flowers in her garden didn’t bloom as early as expected. Overall, our day had that perfect laid back Vashon feel in a relaxing, nature-filled setting. So glad we got married here! Photos by Kassandra Out West

Wow just wow! My husband and I utilized Sweet Alyssum Farm for our wedding flowers and I can’t begin to express how beautiful it all turned out. I will just allow the photos to speak for themselves. Working with Alyssa was also a dream. She was able to convey the vision and execute it seamlessly for the day of our wedding. She stayed in our budget while still creating a beautiful spread and provided loose florals for our centerpieces on the tables. I had our wedding in Vashon and it was important for us to utilize as many local vendors as possible. We are so grateful we were able to have Sweet Alyssum Farm as our florist.

We had our wedding at Sweet Alyssum Farm in July, and it was an absolute dream. The venue was breathtaking, with the flower garden, hop yard, and rolling field creating the perfect backdrop for our special day. Alyssa, Cory, and their team were fantastic to work with—professional, warm, and incredibly attentive. Alyssa also designed and installed all the ceremony and reception floral arrangements, which were stunning and perfectly captured our vision. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, adding the perfect touch to the entire celebration. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the beauty of the venue, the gorgeous flowers, and the amazing deck-turned-dance floor. We’re beyond grateful to Sweet Alyssum Farm for making our wedding day so memorable and beautiful. Wow -- we cannot say enough great things about Alyssa and the rest of the folks at Sweet Alyssum Farm! We've gotten their bouquets at our local farmer's market for a while now, and knew that she would deliver gorgeous arrangements for our wildflower-y July wedding. Alyssa was responsive and a great collaborator on our color-forward vision, and not only created AMAZING wearable arrangements (flower crown, corsage, boutonniere), but a completely jaw-dropping arbor arrangement and pew ends. We opted to get three buckets of flowers to have some of our guests arrange into table pieces, which was both a fun bonding activity and ended up with some beautiful minimalist (and maximalist) pieces for our dinner and reception. Communication was always prompt and friendly, she hand-delivered the pieces to our out-of-the-way Bainbridge venue. Would highly recommend for any Western Washington couples!
